Fourth National Conference on Quality Health Care for Culturally Diverse Populations: Integrating Community Needs into the National Health Agenda

The State University of New York Downstate Medical Center at Brooklyn, Resources for Cross Cultural Health Care, and the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health are holding the Fourth National Conference on Quality Health Care for Culturally Diverse Populations: Integrating Community Needs into the National Health Agenda on September 28-October 1, 2004 at the Washington Hilton & Towers, Washington, DC.

Since the first national meeting in 1998, this conference series has emphasized a public-private blend of service delivery, community advocacy, policymaking, research and leadership development to improve the health of diverse populations. The objectives of the Fourth National Conference are to showcase the best of culturally competent health care to national health organizations and leaders, disseminate research and expertise to advance promising interventions, and develop partnerships to improve access to effective care for all Americans.

SUNY Downstate Medical Center and USDHHS invites innovators in culturally competent health care to submit proposals for training and workshop presentations.
